Overview

         · Communication with vendor, shipper, customer, carrier, and Oversea Agent throughout the                process and choosing proper routing appropriate or the customer’s needs
         · Book the export shipments with designated ocean carriers in a timely and a cost-effective                    manner
         · Provide accurate booking confirmations after receipt of allocation notice to Customer &                       Oversea
         · Schedule dray carriers to load ocean containers in advance of port cuts
         · Update shipping information for export orders into the internal system
         · Submit shipping instructions, check and approve BL Drafts to Carrier
         · Issue documents such as B/L
         · Ensure all AMS and ISF filings shipment to USA are done timely and correctly
         · File rates with FMC
         · Ensure the correct export documentation before sending out externally
         · Send Pre-Alerts via email and original docs via international courier
         · Inform regional sales offices or customers of potential delays or ETA
           (Estimated Time of Arrival) deviations
        · Resolve billing discrepancies and discrepancies against client routing guides
        · Create debit note/invoice to bill to agents/customers
        · Review and verification Carrier /Co-loader, Subcontractors, Overseas office billing process
        · Problem Solve and Investigate: Problem solving in a deadline driven operation involving                    different countries, time zones and cultures
        · Track and trace shipments, research and resolve any issues regarding billing or shipping                    discrepancies.
         Qualifications           Minimum of Diploma or Degree

Minimum of 2 years’ experience years in the relevant field

Knowledge and experience of shipping and freight forwarding operations / practices

Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PPT)

Positive attitude, team player, punctual, honest and dedicated

Good interpersonal, relationship building, motivating and training skills

Good English communication skills (written and spoken)

Pleasant personality able to get along with people at different levels and different parties

Problem solving abilities and open minded thinking

Flexible and able to put in extra hours of work if required

Demonstrate ability of stay organized, focus and systematic when under pressure

Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures

Knowledge of chemical export logistics handling
